Representative Matches

The Leicester league play two representative matches each year, made up of rinks from teams within the league (on a rota basis)

The matches in 2024 will be: 

  • Wednesday 14th August 2024 - League play against Bowls Leicestershire Executive @ Narborough BC starting at 6:00pm. The league side will be provided by:

          Birstall, Knighton Victoria, St Margaret's, Soar Valley and Westcotes, with a Council rink

  • Wednesday 28th August 2024 - League play against The Chairman's Club - Fosseway BC on their green starting at 6:00pm. The league side will be provided by:

          Countesthorpe, Goodwood, Kingscroft, Leicester and Little Bowden with a Council rink​

A raffle will be held at both games, with a prize being donated by all participating rinks, in aid of the Bowls Leicestershire Men's section Benevolent fund. In the last few years we have donated over £1300 to this worthy cause.
